This is a smart cloud lock solution we designed and developed based on requirements common to hundreds of manufacturers and on the direction the market is taking. It uses an NXP main controller platform, with a single MCU delivering main control, touch-key drive and voice functions, and power management that goes beyond expectations — achieving genuinely low power consumption and outstanding cost performance.

Recommended MCU

  • Kinetis L series: KL16: the MCU integrates a touch-key driver and DAC voice playback, so customers can flexibly choose between the built-in or an external touch-key driver as required; adding a single external flash makes voice control easy to implement; card reading supports ISO/IEC 14443 A/B and LPCD — in low-power mode it periodically polls for cards in the RF field, with an effective detection range up to 2.5cm; MCU + touch drive draws as little as 10uA, and MCU + touch drive + LPCD card reading as little as 20uA; a platform-based solution with modular functions, together with our own demo board and software development package, makes development easier and accelerates time to market
