PDF temperature data loggers are widely used in cold-chain transport of pharmaceuticals, biologics, vaccines and food, accurately recording ambient temperature data in real time and presenting the history in a variety of formats (such as a data summary, curve charts and data lists). We offer a complete PDF temperature data logger solution that greatly simplifies software design and shortens the development cycle.
Solution Overview
The PDF temperature data logger solution is built around the HC32L073PATA as the main controller. The whole system is powered by a 3.6V battery, the RTC is provided by the main MCU, and there is one external function button and one LED status indicator. A temperature sensor measures the temperature, while an SPI NOR Flash stores the temperature data and the file system. The MCU communicates with the PC by emulating a USB flash drive.
Below is the PDF output generated from three days of temperature acquisition (sampling interval of 1 second). The data summary on the first page includes the maximum and minimum temperatures with their timestamps, a temperature statistics waveform chart and other information.
