This solution is built on high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M3 and Cortex®-M4 series chips and uses a sensorless FOC control strategy based on high-frequency injection, so the motor delivers maximum torque at any speed — including startup and low-speed operation. The FOC sinusoidal algorithm also makes the motor more energy efficient, extending the runtime of battery-powered tools.
Solution Overview
Several Arm® Cortex®-M3 and Arm® Cortex®-M4 core main controllers are available; a high-frequency injection algorithm based on FOC drives the motor through PWM and ADC.
