A heat-not-burn device warms the tobacco shreds instead of burning them, typically using one of the heating structures shown below: needle heating, a ceramic heating plate, or ring-shaped ceramic heating. Constant-temperature heating control is the method commonly used. By baking the tobacco to below 350℃ the cigarette never combusts, so there is no open flame and no burnt-tobacco taste; the lower temperature releases the true flavour of the tobacco while producing an extremely low level of tar.
Solution Overview
Our heat-not-burn device solution uses the ZLG116 as the main controller, together with the MP26028 linear charger — whose battery reverse leakage current is below 1μA — to charge the system lithium battery. Output power is controlled by chopping a MOSFET so that real tobacco is baked at low temperature, while a current-sense IC, the MCU's built-in 12bit ADC and a temperature sensor together hold the baking temperature rock steady. We can supply the core components for this solution and offer customers a maximized one-stop sourcing service.
