In response to market application requirements, we developed a low-cost 86 wall-box smart panel solution built on the high-performance ZMP1106 processor together with an open-source GUI engine. The ZMP1106 integrates DDR2, image and audio/video processors and a MIPI DSI/RGB LCD interface on chip, giving it a natural advantage in graphical display applications.

In response to market application requirements, we developed a low-cost 86 wall-box smart panel solution built on the high-performance ZMP1106 processor together with an open-source GUI engine. The chip integrates DDR2, image and audio/video processors and a MIPI DSI/RGB LCD interface on chip, giving it a natural advantage in graphical display applications. The solution uses a 4.0-inch high-resolution capacitive touch screen and a standard 86 wall-box mechanical structure, and reserves SDIO, UART and DVP CSI interfaces so that external WiFi, Bluetooth and voice-control modules can be connected quickly, adapting flexibly to a wide range of application environments.

Solution Overview

The core processor is the high-performance ZMP1106, running at up to 804MHz with on-chip DDR2 for powerful performance. The display module is a 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen with 480*480 resolution. An open-source GUI engine delivers attractive, smoothly responsive pages. UART, SDIO, GPIO and other interfaces are made available to customers, allowing BLE, WiFi and voice-control modules to be bridged quickly; a ToF sensor is also integrated as a proximity detection system, so the screen lights up as a person approaches and switches off once they leave. Multiple on-board sensors enable a variety of environmental measurements.
